Querido John - Interview with Esther Ferrer

Interview with Esther Ferrer, November 2012, with questions from Emma Hedditch, Mattin and Irene Revell. Translation from Spanish by Inigo Eguillor. Published on the occasion of Querido John, an evening of performances by Verity Susman, Will Holder, Charlotte Prodger, Emma Hedditch and Mattin, Bridget Hayden and Kelly Jayne Jones, departing from a correspondence between Esther Ferrer and John Cage, exchanged in the realisation of Cage's final work, the mesostic lecture-poem Overpopulation and Art in 1992. Querido John (12th November 2012, Kings Place, London), curated by Electra, was the third and final part of the The Wire Magazine's Cage Rattling series to mark Cage's centenary at Kings Place.
